Oro Grande Classical Academy celebrated its new kindergarten Thursday morning with a ribbon cutting at the Lake Havasu Area Chamber of Commerce.
Kindergarten is a full-time school system and is modeled after the full-time system of elementary school. The ration is 20 children per 2 staff members.
“I am so excited that Oro Grande has had the opportunity to teach a group of 4-year-olds who have had the opportunity to transfer to our school and just have fun. Let them understand what our school is all about. We started quickly and it's amazing to see their growth and progress in the first five months,” said Principal Oro Grande. said Brett Bitterman.
This preschool is tuition-based to help with teacher costs, and tuition is $135 per child per week.
“I think it's probably about making sure parents have a place to take their kids, and that's what we and the district are trying to do,” Bitterman said.
Students can register any time after they turn 4 years old. Please contact Oro Grande for more information. Please call us at 928-505-6080.
