The Mojave County Fairgrounds Rodeo Arena will have a new sign underneath Kingman’s Anderson Ford Dealership. This is because local businesses will gain naming rights to the facility under a new county sponsorship agreement.
That sponsorship was previously held by Kingman’s Martin Swantty Chrysler dealer, who declined to renew the deal earlier this year. Starting at $12,500 per year to operate the Grounds, incrementing by $2,500 per year for a total of $87,500 over the five-year term of the contract.
County officials began negotiations with Anderson-Ford in January after being the sole potential sponsor to respond to the county’s November Request for Proposals filed in November.
Under the agreement, Anderson Ford will install its own illuminated signage at the rodeo arena at its own expense. Also under the agreement, the Anderson Ford Kingman logo will appear on all digital and print content on trade show programs, flyers, websites and social media platforms.
The Mojave County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved a new sponsorship deal with Anderson Ford at its board meeting in Kingman on Monday.
