Roll…Bye?: Alabama Loses WR Coach Holmon Wiggins Just One Day After Getting Bounced From College Football Playoff

Talk about horrible timing.

To their credit, the Alabama Crimson Tide had one of the best semifinal games we've ever seen in the College Football Playoff era, but unfortunately on “ROLL TIDE!” L.

The Crimson Tide ultimately allowed a touchdown to the Michigan Wolverines, sending the game into overtime and losing the game 27-20. In the end, the University of Michigan did the unthinkable and defeated Bama to earn a ticket to the national championship. This was heartbreaking for the Tide, especially as they ended the game with a questionable run-up up the middle that was easily stopped by the Wolverines' defense. But you know the old saying… “When it rains, it pours.”

Literally right after losing in the Rose Bowl, Bama's edge rusher dallas turner This is what he announced, quite rudely, I might add. Enter the NFL Draft. Now, things are getting even worse as the Crimson Tide lost wide receivers coach Hormone Wiggins just one day after the CFP loss, according to Billy Liucci of TexasAgs.com.

And, as per news sources, Wiggins will be going to Alabama's rival Texas A&M and adding head coach Mike Elko to his staff.

It's not the biggest blow in the world, but it will definitely have a big impact on the program. Wiggins has been at Alabama for several years, consistently producing excellent wide receivers and gaining momentum in the national title race.

That being said, a solid move for the Aggies to steal him.
