ROOKE: Hidden Deep Inside New Polling Is A Major Warning For Democrats

The new vote suggests that Democrats have major issues with voter bases, and it is clear that they don’t know how to fix it.

In 2022, legendary Democratic strategist and voter Stanley Greenberg warned that Democrats were not violating middle-class blue-collar workers. He warned that if the party doesn’t change how it approaches these voters, Democrats will face losing this important demographic during election season.

Greenberg’s warning was prophetic. Blue-collar workers overwhelmingly supported President Donald Trump and Republicans in the 2024 election. New Votes CBS news shows that Democrats are not only sucking up support from blue-collar workers, but they are another demographic they have courted for decades.

Trump’s new Approval evaluation It shows he has more advantage than ever, mainly due to his growing support among Gen Z voters. In the under-30 category, 55% of Gen Z voters approved Trump’s first 20 days of office. For decades, Democrats have pursued young votes as a long-term strategy to overwhelm the boomer vote, which is generally skewed to the Republican Party.

However, Democrats’ approach to this voter bloc is clearly not taking root. In fact, they’ve probably swayed in the opposite direction due to Trump’s quick action since retrieving the White House. Over 60% of Gen Z respondents described Trump as “effective”, “concentrated”, “energizing” and “tough.” (Sign up for Mary Luke’s weekly newsletter!))

Polls show that most Americans overwhelmingly support Trump’s plan to stop and reverse illegal immigration. More than half of Gen Z voters told pollers that Trump is focusing on banishing illegal immigrants or that the amount is appropriate or not enough. Most of these voters hope that the Democratic Party’s open border system will end.

They also support his policies on tax cuts, government spending, and imposition of tariffs on foreign countries.

Still, perhaps the biggest knife at the heart of the Democrats is the overwhelming disapproval of Gen Z’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) program. Thirty-six percent of young voters believe Trump is focusing too much on the end of the DEI program, but a whopping 63% said they need to continue at this rate or even eradicate it. . It is no secret that Democrats focused on promoting Day as a new American dream. The party touted the ideology as an opportunity to pay compensation for what is known as racist history. However, the younger generation is no longer falling due to insidious charades. They have seen universities and employers embrace DEI and deny their entry into the world. These programs hurt them in a concrete way, and resent the party that continues to push them to accept it as the gospel.

To change their trajectory, Democrats must end their relationship with the left wing of their party. So far, despite overwhelming losses in November, it appears that Democrats have never learned this lesson.

At the party’s recent campaign event to elect a new leader, the candidates denounced the losses of the 2024 election on racism and misogyny. It’s probably because Kamala Harris’ former vice president represented the type of Democrats who want to open up and continue with borders, Day and anti-American sentiment. No, her loss must have been because Americans were racist and hated women.

The only problem Trump is currently suffering among voters is the daily costs Americans endure when filling refrigerators and gas tanks. This is understandable given that prices have not improved since the November election. For voters in 2024, the economy was a top priority. (Luke: It’s time for Trump to go to the school board meeting)

But the Americans saw what Trump could achieve under his first administration. He has taken office less than a month, and what we can expect is that he will tackle a failed economy with as much fun as his first four years. If he successfully cuts daily costs, his approval rating will likely be high.

Now the game is about Trump losing. They want him to continue marching through the federal government and end illegal immigration, DEIs and corrupt spending, but they want it more. As Republicans continue to win Gen Z votes at the speed they did in 2024, Democrats have little chance when the mid-2026 rolls.
