Russian missiles hit Krivi Ri, the hometown of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the president announced on Twitter on Monday.
The missile strike came a day after President Zelensky suggested an increase in Ukrainian attacks on Russian territory. “Gradually the war is returning to Russian territory, to symbolic centers and military bases,” President Zelensky said in his address to Russia on Sunday evening. according to New York Times (NYT). “And this is an inevitable, natural and absolutely fair process.”
The NYT, citing Ukrainian officials, said at least six people were killed and dozens more injured in the Kryvi Rif attack.
