Williams, the crown jewel of the University of Alabama's 2024 class, was one of the nation's best players for two seasons from 2025 until he was reclassified in 2024. His efforts were recognized and he became the first person in history to receive the consecutive Mr. Award. . Alabama State Football.
He had been committed to Alabama since October 2022, but his recruitment resumed following the retirement of Nick Saban.
But despite Auburn and Texas' hot pursuit of the superstar, DeBoer was able to fulfill his promise, and now Alabama fans can breathe a sigh of relief as he officially puts pen to paper. Ta.

This past season, as a junior, Williams caught over 70 passes for 1,320 yards and 19 touchdowns. He also rushed for nearly 300 yards, threw a touchdown pass, and scored two return touchdowns.
