The Allyn family, a highly regarded and wealthy family from upstate New York, will take over as a minority shareholder in Wrexham AFC.

The history of Wrexham Lager goes back a long way. The beer was also available on the Titanic, and the Reynolds recently sent an expedition to the wreck site to try and recover several bottles, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Wrexham Lager was founded in Wales in 1882 and is said to be the oldest lager brewery still in operation in the UK.
The Roberts family has owned the brewery since 2011 and will remain co-owners as part of this new deal.
