He has a point…
Phil Jackson wins iconic NBA head coach Six Championships Along with another five members of the Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Lakers, they set one hell of criticism on Easter Sunday in the league. He is 100% accurate.
Joining Twitter, Jackson blasted the NBA with “sacred days,” especially having a full game on Easter and Christmas. (Related: “Propaganda”: Sands: “Kevin Durant takes a jab with Stephen A. Smith on the president’s potential run)
“Again, the NBA tests faith by playing multiple games at Christmas and Easter… Holy Days,” Jackson posted.
The NBA had four postseason games planned for Easter, but it should be pointed out that all games are boring and the league is already fighting a low rating. Still, it’s a fair criticism by Jackson, and a fair criticism by others who hammer the MLB, NHL and NFL for the same thing.

I haven’t seen much of the NBA this season, but I won’t lie. I watched the Miami Heat Cre brand Cavaliers game. I didn’t see it because it was like Phil and it was a vicious performance by Miami.

As far as holidays go, I don’t think anything will change there, but that’s definitely something to think about.
