Graham County Unites to Read and Celebrate Andrew Krivak’s The Bears

SAFFORD – The City of Safford’s Graham County Library launches the National Endowment for the Arts’ Big Leads program. bear By Andrew Krivak, who will be exhibiting at the Salsafest booth on Friday and Saturday, September 23rd and 24th. NEA Big Read in Graham County is hosted by the Friends of the Safford Library, Gila Valley Arts Council, The Graham County School Superintendent’s Office, The Graham County School Superintendent’s Office, Graham County Chamber of Commerce, Eastern Arizona College, and the National Endowment for the Arts. I am supported.

The kickoff event will include a booth at SalsaFest in Downtown Safford. Stop by for a free copy of The Bear and a schedule of programs and events.

“The Safford Library bear to Graham County. I think this book will appeal to many members of our community with its vivid depiction of nature and survival,” said Library Supervisor Leslie Talley.

NEA Big Read is a National Endowment for the Arts initiative in partnership with Arts Midwest to expand our understanding of our world, our communities, and ourselves through the power of shared reading experiences.

Graham County is one of 62 communities nationwide participating in the 2022-2023 NEA Big Leads. From September 23rd to January 6th, 2023, our community will: bear The event includes presentations on Arizona legends, myths, and folklore, community book discussions, two photo exhibitions, and more.
