Heading into Sunday, the New Orleans Saints were on a roll. 7 consecutive lossesBut he snapped it up thanks to a win against the Atlanta Falcons. This was a big problem for the franchise, as this losing streak was the team’s worst in 25 years.
Well, head coach Darren Rizzi had a very charming way to celebrate it.
Peyton Turnerplayfully shoved Saints defensive end Rizzi from behind. The captain’s legs appeared to be paralyzed before he hugged Turner. The two continued their conversation. (RELATED: 49ers’ Deebo Samuel is caught on camera grabbing teammate Tabor Pepper by the throat during boiling point)
The scene was so disturbing that it caused such viral hype on social media that Rizzi gave some clarification on what exactly happened in the post-match press conference.
“I yelled at Peyton Turner with 30 seconds left because he was celebrating before the game was over,” Rizzi said. “So I screamed at him. Frankly, he was spraying water and I ripped his ass off. So when the match was over, he tried to get me back, so , came up to me when I wasn’t looking and jacked me up from behind.
“I have a history of needle sticks and my left arm is completely paralyzed. I literally went completely paralyzed. I lost feeling in my arm and lost balance. I’m fine.”
