Alabama Supreme Court Justice Sarah Stewart has won the support of 23 Republican district attorneys from across the state to become the next Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court.

Judge Sarah Stewart has nearly 20 years of judicial experience, including the past six years as a justice on the Alabama Supreme Court. Her conservative judicial background is evidenced, and she has a reputation for being “tough on crime,” handing out long sentences for the worst offenders.
