Scott Jennings Pokes Fun At Legacy Media Outlet Barred From Oval Office For Not Living ‘In Reality’

CNN senior political commentator Scott Jennings said after President Donald Trump’s administration banned outlets from his oval office after President Donald Trump’s administration rejected recognition of the newly named US Gulf. On Wednesday he threw his fun in “not dealing with reality.”

The White House told the Associated Press that if they fail to comply with the president’s executive order to change the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the US Gulf, they will be denied entry from the event at the oval office. Jennings said the president renamed the landmark and location throughout history, accusing the Associated Press of deliberately hoping to “choose a fight” with Trump.

“We have a legitimate process to change its name to this country, the president went through it with the Secretary of the Interior. [Doug Burgum] Incidentally… we also have the ability to change this body of water,” Jennings said. “Look, this smacks me a news organization looking for a way to choose a fight against Donald Trump about something they don’t need to choose a fight. He’s the president and he’s the one who’s going to do that. There’s a legal process that they’ve gone through to do so, so why don’t they respect it?”

CNN host Abby Phillip jumped to the AP’s defense and said the outlet should allow it to continue its Gulf of Mexico waters. Jennings then questioned whether the AP was involved in political activities surrounding journalism due to his refusal to call the Bay under the new appropriate name. “Why do you respect news organizations that don’t live in real life?” Jennings pushed back and received pushbacks from other panelists.

“Donald Trump chose to fight news organizations,” Philip argued. “News organizations can do whatever they want. If they want to call it South American Bay, they can call it that. But Scott, they’re free speech in this country. There are so you can call whatever they want, don’t you agree?”

“Yes, but in my opinion, if you don’t want to call something with an appropriate name under US law, that will question your judgment and are you a news organization?” Jennings replied.

During Trump’s first term, former deputy reporter Sarah Matthews asked Jennings whether it was justified that former President Joe Biden ban Fox News from the White House. Jennings claimed that Trump provided the media with more transparency than the press.

Trump answered a total of 75 questions just hours after being sworn in his second term, but Biden answered just six questions in his first week of office.

The AP has been published statement He lamented the White House’s decision to ban them from its oval offices, saying it “will seriously hinder public access to independent journalism.” White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt I said At a press conference on Wednesday, we explain that reporting that it is on the ground in an oval office is a “privilege” and that stores that tell lies are “accountable.”

The AP is one of several corporate media outlets that have been raked for millions of dollars from the federal government, including a $19,502,333 contract from the US Global Media Agency (AGM) that will grow from 2017 to 2022.
