Scott Jennings Questions Why ‘Weird AF’ Democrats Can’t Behave Like Ordinary Individuals

Democrats Criticized for Epstein Files Remarks

Scott Jennings was on CNN’s “News Night with Abby Phillip” on Tuesday, labeling Democrats as “strange.” His comments came after a Georgia House Democrat demanded the release of “The Epstein Files,” prompting Jennings to wonder why lawmakers couldn’t behave like “normal people.”

On Monday, Johnson shared a video titled “Ear Candy” on his X account for the song “Dreamsicle.” Jennings, referencing a clip from the show, remarked that the Democrat legislators weren’t exactly “super geniuses.”

“Remember a few years ago when your folk singer expressed concern at a council hearing about Guam capsizing due to too many Marines?” Jennings recalled. “That’s indicative of the intelligence we’re dealing with here.”

Back in 2010, Johnson, during a House Armed Services Committee meeting, expressed a fear that Guam could become “overly populated” with an increase in military personnel. His spokesperson later clarified that he was worried about potential impacts on Guam’s infrastructure and ecosystem, according to CBS News.

Jennings continued, “These Democrats are just weird. Why can’t they act like normal people?” In Johnson’s video, lawmakers sang about Epstein’s death, demanding to know the whereabouts of Epstein’s files, which the Trump administration had promised to release.

“Epstein died by suicide, that’s a fact, but you need to be blind to not see it. You’ve said you’d release the files, so where are they? We believed what we were told,” Johnson sang. “You’ve had ample time, you’re in charge now, and yet you say you’ll withhold Epstein’s files. It’s like you’re dreaming on a folding lawn chair on a summer night.”

Following the quiet release of a memo by the DOJ on July 6th, there are calls for greater transparency from the Department of Justice and the FBI regarding documents related to Epstein. Reportedly, there is no “client list” and no foul play linked to Epstein’s death.

Questions arose shortly after the FBI released over ten hours of video footage showing Jeffrey Epstein’s cell outside the Metropolitan Correctional Center on the night he died in 2019.

During a press conference on July 8th, Attorney General Pam Bondy was questioned about the missing footage, attributing it to the facility’s camera reset schedule each night.

A recent review from Wired suggested that the video’s metadata might have been tampered with.

Bondi has faced backlash over previous comments made to Fox News, stating that there would be “many flight logs, lots of names.” Some Republicans are now calling for her resignation.

In response, President Donald Trump defended Bondi in a statement on X, urging supporters to move on from the Epstein narrative.

Nonetheless, bipartisan congressional groups continue to demand transparency. Kentucky Republican Rep. Thomas Massey introduced a discharge petition on Tuesday to prompt a House vote for the full release of the Epstein Files.
