Law enforcement officials urged the public to stay off beaches after a large amount of marijuana washes up on Florida beaches Saturday morning.
The Neptune Beach Police Department raided Neptune Beach on July 22 after beachgoers noticed strange-looking and smelly seaweed growing along the beach, News 4Jacks reported. report.

Beachgoer Brian Cruz echoed West’s assessment of the situation, telling the magazine that the shoreline was overgrown with weeds. According to News 4 Jax, Mr. Cruz said, “I don’t know from personal experience, but watching the show, it was probably £5 or £10.”
Police officials said a large amount of marijuana was likely split at sea and washed up on shore, but cautioned against anyone trying to take advantage of the situation.
