Seattle Seahawks middle linebacker Tyrell Dodson Started in all games (Total 9 pieces) in the 2024 campaign, but things will be different for his next contest: He’s no longer a Seahawk.
According to a Monday announcement from Seattle, the team plans to release Dodson. (Related: Former NFL head coach Jack Del Rio arrested on suspicion of drunk driving and crashing into road sign: Report)
Dodson will now be placed on waivers, meaning any franchise will have the right to acquire him. Whichever team acquires him will pay him $1.1 million over the remainder of the campaign. If Dodson had been released just a week ago, he could have signed with any organization he wanted. However, since the NFL trade deadline has passed, all released players will be placed on waivers.
Seattle recently made the following trades. Ernest Jonesreplacing Dodson as the team’s starting middle linebacker. Dodson was initially expected to start at the weakside linebacker position with the addition of Jones, but that role will now be filled by one of them. drake thomas or Tyris Knight.
Added CB Josh Jobe to the active roster and waived LB Tyrell Dodson.
