Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ former bodyguard reveals in an explosive documentary released on January 14 that the rapper may have had something to do with the death of iconic hip-hop star Notorious B.I.G. He claimed that there was.
Gene Diehl worked as Diddy’s bodyguard from 1991 to 2005 and was part of the group of people in Diddy’s inner circle in the Peacock film Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy. According to New York Post. Diehl told an interviewer that he was present on March 9, 1997, the night the infamous B.I.G., known to fans as Biggie Smalls, was killed in a drive-by shooting at the age of 24. Diehl said Diddy was at the hospital after Biggie was shot.
“Puff burst out of the hospital door, grabbed my arm and said, ‘Gene, we need to pray,'” Diehl said in the documentary, according to the New York Post.

The interviewer directly asked Diddy’s former bodyguard if he thought Diddy had anything to do with Biggie’s death, to which he replied: So did he have anything to do with it directly? He could have done that. ”
On-screen text in the documentary stated that Diddy has always vehemently denied having anything to do with Biggie’s death.

Diddy’s lawyer released a statement on January 13 regarding the allegations in the documentary.
“These documentaries contain unverified claims and provide a platform for baseless conspiracy theories without accountability or evidence,” they said, according to the New York Post.
