Sedona arts show coming to Norterra | Features

The Shops at Norterra in North Phoenix will host a local version of Sedona’s popular Oak Creek Arts & Crafts Show from Friday, January 24th through Sunday, January 26th.

The Shops at Norterra Art Festival, featuring artist demonstrations, interactive art installations, live entertainment and more, will be held daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 2460 W. Happy Valley Road in Phoenix. Admission is free.

A highlight of the Shops at Norterra Art Festival is the variety of art and handicrafts on display and available for purchase, including paintings, photography, pottery, jewelry, Native American pieces, and more.

Artists at the event will demonstrate how they create their work and provide insight into their artistic process. Attendees can participate in the creation of works of art by painting three large interactive murals, and a drawing will be held at the end of the festival.

The festival is packed with live entertainment, including drum circles with audience participation and performances by a variety of musicians.

Native hoop dancer and singer Moonty Sinqua will perform Saturday, Jan. 25 at 1 p.m. Sinqua is a four-time world hoop dance champion and has entertained and educated audiences around the world as a traditional singer, flutist, and artist.

The Shops at Norterra Art Festival is hosted by Sedona-based Marlo Johnson Promotions, which also produced Art at Anthem at Outlets North Phoenix (formerly Outlets at Anthem) this weekend. are.
