sedona news – The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to invite theaters from around the world to participate in the global theatrical event “A Case for Love.” on Tuesday, January 23rd at the Mary D. Fisher Theater.
“A Case for Love” is inspired by the teachings and writings of Bishop Michael Curry, best known for his passionate sermon on the “power of love” at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal wedding. It is a heartfelt but personally challenging film.
This documentary examines whether love, especially selfless love, is the answer to the extreme social and political divisions facing the United States.
In this documentary, the film team travels across America, interviewing people from all walks of life and ethnicities, all striving to live a selfless life. Stories include racial justice, the military, foster care, sex trafficking, love and loss, and others starring Pete Buttigieg, Al Roker, Sam Waterston, Becca Stevens, Russell Moore, John Danforth , John Clyburn, Kelly Brown Douglas, and John Clyburn. Meacham gives his opinion on this issue. Finally, Bishop Michael Curry puts what we have seen into context.
Viewers are asked to use their own judgment. Come, take a look and decide for yourself.
“A Case for Love” will be performed at the Mary D. Fisher Theater on Tuesday, Jan. 23, at 4 and 7 p.m.
