Sedona Film Fest presents Sunday Stand-Up Comedy Night Oct. 6

Sedona News The Sedona International Film Festival will bring a night of stand-up comedy to the Mary D. Fisher Theatre on Sunday, October 6th at 7pm.

The Sedona International Film Festival will bring a live stand-up comedy night to the Mary D. Fisher Theatre on Sunday, October 6th, featuring main dancer Tony Tripoli and special guest Jackie Tinsley.

The show will be headlined by Tony Tripoli and opened by Jackie Tinsley.

Tony Tripoli

Tony Tripoli is the executive producer and head writer of E!'s hit show “Fashion Police” and was the opening act for the legendary Joan Rivers for five years. He has also written and produced many of the shows we've watched with the sound off in nail salons, including “Joan Knows Best,” “In Bed with Joan” and “The Dish.” Tony was the “Millionaire” on Patti Stanger's fake matchmaking show and has headlined the San Diego Comedy Festival, Big Pine Comedy Festival, Midwest Queer Comedy Festival and Laughed Out Comedy Fest.

Tripoli has performed as a stand-up comedian all over the world and has collaborated with Kevin Hart, Sarah Silverman, Kathy Griffin, Margaret Cho, RuPaul, Troy Bond, Michael Costa, Taylor Tomlinson and many others (including Miss Piggy). His stand-up special, “Tony Tripoli: I Have Opinions”, will be available on streaming platforms later this year.

Jackie Tinsley

Jackie Tinsley is a Phoenix-based comedian born and raised in the Valley of the Sun. Her witty storytelling style has seen her perform on stages throughout Arizona and beyond. She has participated in various comedy festivals, including Cactus Comedy Classics, World Comedy Expo, Big Pine Comedy Festival, and Black Girl Giggles.

The stand-up comedy night will take place at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre on Sunday, October 6th at 7pm. Tickets are $20.
