Robin Williams and Nathan Lanestar Award-winning comedy at Fisher Theatre
SEDONA, Arizona – On an evening in Sedona’s South Beach, Sedona International Film Festival will partner with Unify Sedona to unveil “The Birdcage” at Mary D. Fisher Theatre on Saturday, June 28th at 4 and 7pm. The event is the annual Pride Month celebration finale.
Enjoy the Academy Award-nominated big screen smash. Starring Robin Williams and Nathan Lane. Costumes are encouraged, so wear your favorite “Bird Cage” South Beach outfit and join the party! Prizes are given to the best outfits. Champagne and cake reception in the courtyard continues with the evening movie. Those participating in the 4pm screening will be given a wristband to return to reception.

In this remake of the classic French farce, La Cage Aux Folles, couples Val Goldman (Dan Foeterman) and Barbara Keely (Calista Flockhart) shake up future step-in-laws. Val’s father, Armand (Robin Williams), owner of Gay Miami Drug Club, straightens up and tries to hide his relationship with his life partner and the club’s glamorous star attraction, Albert (Nathan Lane).
