sedona news – The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the premiere of the Northern Arizona version of “Above the Trees” at the Mary D. Fisher Theater on Tuesday, October 29th at 4 p.m.
Meet the filmmakers in this special debut feature. Director/producer Gary Lundgren and producer Ann Lundgren will be in Sedona for the premiere event and will host a Q&A discussion after the screening.
“Above the Trees” stars Daniel Kelly, Julian Remura, Luis Rodriguez, Danforth Cummins, and Barrett O’Brien. Filmed on location in Rogue Valley.
A good man is assaulted and left in a deep coma, and his best friend, a local boxer, is charged with the crime. The story follows a mosaic of people involved in the tragedy as a criminal trial unfolds in Jackson County.
Gary Lundgren, the Ashland director of Calvin Marshall (2009) and Phoenix Oregon (2019), tracks the aftershocks of tragedy and the twists of fate in Above the Trees.
