Sedona Film Festival presents ‘The Piano Lesson’ premiere Dec. 27-Jan. 2

sedona news – The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the Sedona premiere of “The Piano Lesson,” which will be shown from Dec. 27 to Jan. 27. 2 at the Alice Gill Sheldon Theater.

A fight breaks out in the Charles family. In the center stands a prized heirloom piano that separates the two brothers. Meanwhile, the brothers (John David Washington) plan to sell the house and build up their family fortune. Meanwhile, the younger sister (Danielle Deadwyler) will do anything to preserve the only vestige of her family’s heritage. Their uncle (Samuel L. Jackson) tries to mediate, but even he can’t quell the ghosts of the past.

In “Piano Lessons,” a family conflict over an heirloom piano explodes. The conflict between brother and sister – one wanting to sell it, the other refusing to let it go – over how the past is recognized and who defines the family legacy. Reveal unforgettable truths.

The film is directed and co-written by Malcolm Washington in his feature directorial debut. From Oscar-nominated producers Denzel Washington and Todd Black, the film stars Samuel L. “The Piano Lesson” will be performed at the Alice Gill Sheldon Theater from December 27th to January 27th. 2. Show times are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, December 27, 28, and 29 at 3:30 p.m. and Mondays and Thursdays, Dec. 30 and Jan. 2, at 6:30 p.m.
