Sedona Hosting Volunteer Expo May 14

The City of Sedona Sustainability Division will collaborate with Volunteer Sedona & Verde Valley (VSVV) to host a free volunteer exposition on the Hub of Posse Grounds Park, located on the road at 525 b-bosses, Wednesday, May 14, 2025, from 1pm to 4pm, Wednesday, May 14, 2025, connecting free community members with available volunteer opportunities.

The Volunteer Expo aims to:

  • Promoting Local Nonprofit Organizations – This event will show you dozens of local nonprofit organizations (see below for sampled organizations participating in the event).
  • Promote volunteer recruitment – Provides direct engagement opportunities for volunteers to meet community organizations and learn about their mission.
  • Encourage Community Networking – Event Partners aim to promote connections between nonprofits, community leaders and potential volunteers in Sedona and Verde Valley, enhancing collaboration for a positive impact on the community.

Participating organizations participating in the expo include the Humane Society of Sedona, the Sedona Community Centre, Keep Sedona Beauty, City of Sedona, Greater Sedona Chamber of Commerce, Wheel Fan, Eco Farm, Gardens for Restoration Houses, Gardens for Humanity, and Slide Rock State Park.

“We hope that the event will inspire new volunteers by highlighting the incredible work they do and connecting with locals who are passionate about making a difference.”
