See Greg Gutfeld criticize Democrats for their part in creating the Minnesota shooter and then trying to avoid responsibility.

On a recent episode of “Five,” Greg Gutfeld discussed the response to a tragic event involving two children killed in Minnesota, linking it to the Democrats’ approach to social issues. The gunman, identified as Robin Westman, was a man in his 20s, who wounded at least 17 people during the incident. During the conversation, Dana Perino noted how Democrats defended the “trans community” following the shooting and asked Gutfeld for his thoughts, reminding viewers that he had previously predicted such an incident would occur again.

Gutfeld expressed skepticism about the Democrats’ capacity for compassion, suggesting that those truly concerned about the situation were trying to address what he termed the “trance delusion” surrounding the issue. He criticized various sectors, including media, academia, and politics, accusing them of fostering a climate of fear and hysteria. He pointed out discrepancies in discussions around gun control, noting that other transgender individuals reportedly had their identities concealed.

He referenced a manifesto from the shooter, sharing a disturbing quote about rejecting his identity. Gutfeld placed blame on political leaders and activists, stating, “You made this.” Following the attack, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey took time during a press conference to defend the trans community, stating that exploiting such tragedies only worsens societal issues.

Other Democrats criticized the previous administration for not advocating for stricter gun laws. Former Press Secretary Jen Psaki expressed that merely offering “prayer” isn’t effective against school shootings.

Gutfeld continued to argue that Democrats had created “toxic programs” aimed at children, specifically referencing their stance on transgender treatments. He claimed that these conversations reflect a denial of responsibility for fostering a harmful mindset that contributes to societal issues.

In 2019, Westman had changed his name from Robert in alignment with his gender identity. Minnesota Star Tribune reports that while court documents suggest he is still a minor, his mother applied to have his name changed through the Catholic Church where she worked.

Video footage from the shooter’s manifesto has surfaced online, displaying disturbing statements and calls for violence directed at political figures. The manifesto also included expressions of frustration with his identity, further complicating the narrative surrounding the shooting.
