Segment Comes Unglued After Leo Terrell Rips Dem For Failing To Explain Harris’ Policy Flip-Flops

A heated exchange erupted during a Fox News segment on Friday when lawyer Leo Terrell blasted Democratic strategists for refusing to explain Vice President Kamala Harris' shifting policy stance.

Harris, who secured the number of delegates needed for the nomination during a virtual roll call on Friday, appeared to back away from the policy positions on illegal immigration, health care and gun control that she initially championed during the 2020 presidential election. During an appearance on “The Story,” Terrell asked Democratic strategist Antjuan Searight to explain Harris' policy shift, saying he had video evidence that she had taken “extremist” positions. “Kamala Harris got zero votes. She was picked and appointed by the Hollywood elite, George Clooney, and she got zero votes. But he talks about policy,” Terrell said. “Okay, I have the receipts and the video. What position does Kamala Harris take on illegal immigration? She wanted to decriminalize it. She thinks we should defund the police. Why doesn't she talk about policy? She's against private health insurance. She wants to take away our guns.

“Now, I haven't heard a word from you or from Kamala Harris about any of those things,” Terrell continued. “Let's have her on this show and let Trace ask her about her policies. If you haven't seen her policies, I have a videotape. She's not going to talk about her policies, because she's the most radical socialist candidate of all time and you know that.”

Searight tried to sidestep Terrell's argument by arguing that the civil rights lawyer was yelling.

“I'm not going to answer the question,” Terrell shot back, while Searight argued that Harris was supposed to sign the border bill negotiated by Republican Sen. James Lankford of Oklahoma, Democratic Sen. Chris Murphy of Connecticut and independent Sen. Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona, which many Republicans opposed as lacking enforcement provisions.

The Senate was unable to invoke a stay of consideration of the bill. Vote 50-49 on February 7th.

“Donald Trump and Republicans killed this bill,” Seaworth argued.

“We haven't made much progress here, we haven't made much progress,” Gallagher said. “Leo is right when she says the bottom line at the border is she was put in charge of border control and she didn't do anything.”

Gallagher then fact-checked Terrell and Searight about the border, noting that the executive order signed by Joe Biden on June 4th slowed the flow of illegal immigrants, but that a bipartisan bill rejected in February would have allowed 3 million illegal immigrants to enter the US.
