Sen. Mark Kelly tells Yuma County Democrats to vote early and tell Democrats, independents and disgruntled Republicans to vote for Kamala Harris because a Donald Trump victory would be bad for America. He said we need to encourage people to vote.
Sen. Kelly met with supporters Tuesday afternoon at Cafecito in downtown Yuma. He flew his own plane this week as part of a campaign tour across Arizona for the Harris-Waltz campaign.
Kerry and the Democrats are coming to Yuma in addition to their traditional stops in Phoenix and Tucson to try to win Arizona again. Joe Biden won the state and the presidential election in 2020, but Trump won Yuma County.
In the past two weeks, First Lady Jill Biden and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff visited Yuma County, along with former president of United Farm Workers, head of the U.S. Small Business Administration, and President Carlos Eduardo Espina.

Meanwhile, Republicans have not conducted any announced outside visits by Trump campaign agents in Yuma County in recent days. Kari Lake, who is running for U.S. Senate, brought her campaign tour bus to Yuma on Tuesday and Wednesday, with “Support President Trump” written on one side and a photo of the two of them.
Earlier on Tuesday, Mr. Kelly was joined in Yuma by former United Nations Ambassador Susan Rice.
“Donald Trump doesn’t value veterans and our service,” he said. “He calls us ‘losers’ and ‘sucks.'”
