God, please don’t let this happen.
In some really bright news late Wednesday night, Twitter owner Elon Musk and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg could face off in a “cage match.” Yes seriously.
It all started when Musk responded to a June 20th Twitter thread mocking Zuckerberg, with the head of Twitter writing, “If he does, I’m going to have a cage match (laughs).” was. The joke was in response to a tweeter who said Zach was “doing jiu-jitsu.” [sic] This is a reference to him recently winning a medal at a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournament.
If he’s here, I’m going to participate in a cage match (laughs)

Zuckerberg then reportedly took to Instagram to share a screenshot of Musk’s tweet and a story with the words “send me your location” in big letters. It was first reported that The Verge.
after that, variety When I reached out to Meta about Zuckerberg’s post, a spokesperson confirmed that the Instagram Story “speaks for itself.”
When Elon got a call back, he apparently responded with “Las Vegas Octagon,” which is believed to be a reference to a location request sent by Zuckerberg.
“I have a great trick called ‘Walrus’ where you just lie on top of your opponent and do nothing,” Musk tweeted.
I have a wonderful trick that I call “Walrus”. This is just lying on top of your opponent and doing nothing.

Last month, Zuckerberg posted a photo from match day on Instagram with the caption, “Competed in my first jiu-jitsu tournament and won several medals as a guerilla jiu-jitsu team. @davecamarillo for training me. Thanks @khaiwu @intense0ne!”
I hope this isn’t some silly joke deal, but I would love to see these two fight.
This is perfectly achievable. If you take Elon Musk’s idea and bring it to Las Vegas, you’re 100% sure it will sell out. And for the rest of us, stream it pay-per-view (like AEW does with Bleacher Report, or you could use someone like FITE TV) and set it at the standard $49.99. Hell, the income is out of this world, and since they’re both billionaires, they could give the entire amount to charity to make things even better. (Related: For real…? No… can you imagine the glory?
Elon… Zach… let’s make it happen.
