Senior Referral Network The kickoff premiere party was held at Touchmark Senior Living at The Ranch at The Fin, a beautiful restaurant with million dollar views overlooking Sam Butte and Granite Mountain. About 200 guests attended and enjoyed an appetizer from his company Panera Bread. Attendees learned about and networked with resources available from sponsors at educational tables.
This organization was the vision of Billy Orr’s Mayor’s Commission on Health. The goal was to educate citizens of the Prescott area about the resources available to them to stay healthy until their golden years. Cecilia Jerneghan, the master of ceremonies, paid tribute to Billy Orr.
The Senior Referral Network, under the leadership of Visiting Angel Cecilia Jerneghan of Northern Arizona, who was appointed to the Mayor’s Health Commission by Billy, has advanced this idea. It was born in partnership with Larry Larson, Expert Networks, Frontier Financial, Arizona Senior Referral Network. The goal is to educate employees working in health, wellness, home care, home health care, palliative care, hospice, clinics, hospitals, health and fitness, and senior living in the Prescott area with bi-monthly educational parties. The event is free with appetizers and a cash bar. Sponsored tables are $200 and small businesses share tables to cover the cost.
Plans are underway to launch senior referral networks in Flagstaff, Cottonwood and Payson. Each event celebrates an “unsung hero”. A person who “goes above and beyond” helping seniors and veterans in the greater Prescott area. A non-profit organization in Yavapai County is also recognized for its great goals and dreams.
At the January party, Alan Wickman, owner of the Synergy Home Care and iCare Adult Day Center in Prescott (next to the Social Security Office on Marina Street), along with the Good Samaritan Society and Heather Sheets, received a ” Hometown Halo” award. , Holdsworth Law Office.
