Andy is a senior at Williams High School. She moved to Williams about seven years ago and she has lived in Williams ever since.

While in school, Andy is active in the National Honors Society (NHS) and Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) in his cooking class.

Andy said that although he was nervous to participate in the competition, he really enjoyed participating with his classmates.

“I loved all of my trips at FCCLA. I have fond memories,” Andy said.

She added that Mrs. Moreno, her cooking teacher at WHS, her parents, and friends are her biggest support system.

Outside of school, Andy works with children at Heritage Elementary School. There she enjoys helping and mentoring children.

After graduating, Andy plans to study cooking. She is still deciding between Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff and Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah.

Andy said that no matter what he decides, he will miss his friends and teachers, but he is excited about the next step in his life.
