Born in Upland, California on September 16, 1971, Shannon Patrice Williams sadly passed away on December 22, 2022 in Tucson, Arizona.
She is survived by four children: Zachary McCarthy (Carly), Braden McCarthy, Matthew McCarthy (Nevee), and Trey McCarthy. her fiancé, Christopher Aguaro; her sister, Laura Pierpont (Stephen); Brother, Norman Williams. and several nieces and nephews.
She loved being the center of their lives and was very happy to be. I knew. She loved being surrounded by family and friends, and loved having a full house when the opportunity arose. She is an amazing mother, sister, aunt, and Grammy Award winner. Shannon has lived in Morenci, Arizona for many years, where she met her fiancée and was excited to build a life together. She was very much loved by the community and did whatever was asked of her. She recently became a business owner in Clifton, Arizona and she was so proud of it, she will be sorely missed. We know we can’t have you here anymore, but we’re glad the Grammys and Pops welcomed you with open arms and kept you safe. Saying goodbye to my sisters, fiancés, aunts, Grammys and friends. See you again someday. Remember that no one loves you like we do.
A celebration of Shannon’s life will take place on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at 10 am at Vining Funeral Home’s Chapel of the Valley.
