Charlotte Hall Museum, Research, Archives, Prescott,

Since its founding more than 40 years ago, the library and archives have become important resources for researchers in Prescott, Yavapai County, Arizona. The facility has provided a wealth of information and resources on a wide range of topics, from prehistoric Aboriginal cultures and early pioneer families to modern mining, ranching, and business history.

Despite the walk-in ban on research center facilities, patrons are still encouraged to use all research databases on the L&A website. The website allows patrons and researchers to access and browse curated archive material from the comfort of their own homes. In the near future, the Charlotte Hall Museum will offer an online survey request form that allows patrons to submit questions and respond to the library and archives. Until then, we encourage all inquiries regarding the investigation to be made via email.

“The Charlotte Hall Museum remains committed to providing research opportunities and archival material on the history of Prescott, Yavapai County, and Arizona Central Highlands. The materials demonstrate the breadth of our collection and we will continue to offer these items on our website, as well as the variety available to patrons to gain knowledge on these topics. We will also provide you with valuable resources,” said Brenda Taylor, Research Center Manager, Librarian and Archivist.
