Parents of children going back to school, take note! Your children will continue to learn Marxist critical theory, hyper-sexualization, anti-American propaganda, advocacy for social justice, that capitalism is racist, and that America is systemically racist. Your children will be taught to hate themselves, others, and their country.
You would think so All Laws Once the laws passed across the country to curb these insidious education methods are implemented, parents will have more confidence that teachers will return to school. Unfortunately, there is mounting evidence that teachers and administrators are willing to find ways around the new laws to continue indoctrinating children.
In fact, when the controversy over critical race theory erupted a few years ago, more than 5,000 teachers across the United States signed a pledge initiated by the Zinn Education Project stating, “We, the undersigned educators, refuse to lie to young people about American history and current events, regardless of law.” The Zinn Education Project pledge includes the statement, “Our nation's major institutions and systems are deeply tainted by anti-Black racism and its intersection with other forms of oppression. To fail to acknowledge this and to fail to help students understand the roots of racism in the United States is to deceive them.”
The Zinn Education Project provides training and materials to schools based on the approach to history highlighted in Howard Zinn’s controversial book, A People’s History of the United States. In 2019, Dr. Mary Glover wrote: “Howard Zinn's Perjury” In it, she identifies Zinn as a Communist and presents evidence exposing his lies in rewriting American history.
Another example of school officials circumventing the law can be found in South Carolina's law. prohibit Using state funds to teach the tenets of Critical Race Theory. Many school districts in South Carolina circumvented the law by using federal COVID relief funds to continue implementing “culturally appropriate pedagogy,” diversity, equity, and inclusion, and “social-emotional learning,” all of which are vehicles for Marxist critical theory.
Other tried-and-true methods of obfuscating the law are also being implemented: Just as nearly every U.S. state renamed the Common Core standards a decade ago to avoid backlash from lawmakers and parents, Idaho principals and district instructional coaches said they would simply rename social-emotional learning to “behavioral adaptations” and “mental health curriculum.”
Additionally, many school districts across the country are committed to educating children to believe they are the opposite gender to their biological sex. “We would not use the law to force a student to come out publicly if we knew it would harm the child,” said Dr. Rupak Gandhi, superintendent of Fargo Public Schools. It appears that school officials not only continue to influence children to reconsider their biological sex, but also continue to do so behind parents' backs.
One ray of hope is in California's Chino Valley Unified School District, where parents recently applauded the removal of California Public Instruction Superintendent Tony Thurmond from the district's board of governors after Thurmond spoke out against the local district's proposed policy of requiring teachers to notify parents of students who identify as transgender. Even in ultra-liberal California, parents are opposed to indoctrination, and the local district is moving to take back control of the classroom, despite pressure from the state to pursue anti-parent policies.
Parents, and all freedom-loving Americans, need to know what's going on in our public schools with their tax dollars, and they can start by watching this groundbreaking documentary. Truths and lies in American education Familiarize yourself with the array of dangerous philosophies your children are being taught so you can connect with others in your community to fight for the minds of children. Ultimately, this is a battle between good and evil.
A parent's first line of defense is to protect their children. The harmful policies of our public schools are tantamount to child abuse. Once our children are safe, we must work together to protect our nation's freedom. If we do not stop the indoctrination of our children, we will lose freedom itself. As Abraham Lincoln said, “The philosophy of the schools of one generation is the philosophy of the governments of the next.”
Sheri Few is United States Parents Involved in Education (USPIE) Its mission is to end the U.S. Department of Education and all federal education mandates. Few has written extensively on critical race theory and hasTruths and lies in American education.”
