YAVAPAI COUNTY, Ariz. — A Yavapai County man is facing multiple criminal charges for allegedly fabricating crimes against his ex-girlfriend and former employer.
The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office said the man was arrested earlier this week after a lengthy investigation. The individual is suspected of orchestrating fraud, robbery, trespassing and armed robbery charges.
The man was ordered to pay thousands of dollars in civil damages to his former employer and ex-girlfriend in 2023, YCSO said. The following year, the man began making accusations against his ex-girlfriend and her company.
YCSO investigators believe the man was making up these charges. The sheriff’s office arrested him at his home Tuesday after obtaining a search warrant.
