Graham County – On January 23, 2023, the Graham County Sheriff’s Office received a call that Liberty Salazar is missing. Liberty’s bike was found at the edge of the road near his home on Highway 191. Evidence that night suggests that Liberty did not walk from the area. The sheriff’s office has launched an effort to locate Liberty, a 21-year-old woman. Liberty was explained to us that she has special needs and medical concerns. The sheriff’s office registered Liberty her Salazar as missing in her ACIC/NCIC system. Her friends and family have also launched a campaign to find Liberty.

During the investigation, the Graham County Sheriff’s Office learned that Liberty had contact with a Texas man prior to January 23, 2023. The sheriff’s office produced information and found Liberty with the assistance of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. Salazar on March 7, 2023.

Liberty’s family has been notified and is traveling to Texas to unite with Liberty. A follow-up interview will take place upon Liberty’s return.
