SHOW LOW — The Show Low Police Department has released activity logs for the period from January 10th to January 17th. There were no entries for January 10th.
Pinetop’s 18-year-old Matthew Hutchins was arrested for speeding after allegedly driving 57 mph in a 35 mph zone at Block 100 of the East Deuces of Clubs.
Show Low’s Paul Thomas, 34, drives State Route 260 and South Hall and was recently arrested for DUI, which is likely to result in a license suspension, police confirmed. A record check is said to have confirmed that it was interrupted. He was suspended and cited for driving with a suspended license.
Caezar Padena, 29, of Vernon, was arrested at criminal speed for reportedly driving 63 mph in a 35 mph zone along US Route 60 near Elk Ridge.
Sanders’ Camerino Gachupin, 30, was a passenger in the car that was stopped at Block 4600 of the East Deuces of Clubs. He allegedly had an open container of alcohol in his car.
Show Low’s 63-year-old James Jarrrell was suspended for speeding charges at the 4600 block of the East Deuce of Clubs. Officers are said to have seen blue straws with burnt ends in the vehicle, which could be drug paraphernalia. A search resulted in the discovery of 91 fentanyl tablets. Of those, 49 were in his DVD case inside the car, and 42 were in pouches that passenger Jackie Bland, 57, allegedly threw away “while using the roadside toilet.” to the police. Charges included possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.
Near midnight, police responded to a call about a man allegedly drinking on the premises of the East Deuces of Club Quality Inn. One of his men, Charles Inman, 67, from Show Low, was found to have a felony warrant and was arrested.
At approximately 8:45 a.m., a vehicle driven by Trason Leggett Sr. of Layton, Utah, was stopped for allegedly speeding on U.S. Route 60 and 32nd Street. The vehicle was reported stolen from Mojave County. Passengers included Leggett’s sons Torason Leggett, Jr., 33, and Sierra Scott, 29, of Ocala, Florida. After all, Sr. Leggett reported that his son allegedly stole his car after he assaulted him, but they wanted to settle it all and drop the stolen car report. A call to Mojave County solved the problem. However, during the search, police found a zippered pouch under the passenger seat, believed to contain methamphetamine. The residents admitted to having used drugs in the past, and all were arrested for possession of dangerous drugs and drug paraphernalia.
At Block 500 of West Deuces of Clubs, Jared Franklin, 43, of Apache Junction was arrested for speeding and driving while under license suspension.
At approximately 6:23 p.m., officers spotted a vehicle “hardly turning in two lanes” near the intersection of U.S. Route 60 and State Route 260. His license was revoked for a previous DUI and he was arrested for aggravated DUI, a felony.
Ryan Garcia, 40, of St. John’s, was arrested on suspicion of a traffic violation on Routes 60 and 27. Officers noticed a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle, and Garcia had performed poorly on a breathalyzer test. Garcia was also arrested on a warrant from the Springerville Court of Justice.
Around 9:20 p.m. in the 2100 block of the East Deuce of Clubs, police allegedly saw Snowflake’s Elise Foster, 36, trying to turn her car around. However, she ended up “completely across the road into the opposite lane,” according to police. She reportedly performed poorly on her sobriety tests, with two breath tests allegedly giving her an ABV of 0.116. She was arrested on suspicion of DUI and her alcohol content was above the legal limit of her 0.08.
Shortly after midnight, police found a vehicle that had made a wide turn without stopping at a stop sign, skidded its lane, and hit a curb while making a right turn. Darius Albert, his 29-year-old Show Low driver, said he drank “two beers,” but breath test results were .241 and .243. He was arrested on suspicion of DUI, exceeding the legal limit of .08 and exceeding his DUI limit of .20 super extreme.
A few hours later, at 2:27 a.m., at 805 West Whipple Street, Show Low’s Jeffery Kilcoin, 35, was seen driving a vehicle that allegedly failed to stop and used lanes improperly. was sighted. Officers pursued Kilcoyn and saw him drive slowly down the middle of the road, signal for a turn very quickly, execute a stop sign, alternately drive very slowly, and then stop at the speeding point. He was arrested on suspicion of DUI. No mention is made of breath tests or blood draws.
Show Low’s Jimmy George, 52, was contacted to jaywalk in the 600 block of the East Deuce of Clubs. He was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant from Holbrook.
Police received a call from a relative of Taylor’s 40-year-old Joseph Stradling to check on his health. Officers contacted him at the motel and arrested him on a warrant from Apache County.
London Brooksby, 22, from St. George, Utah, was arrested on suspicion of speeding at Block 200 of West Cooley Street. He reportedly drove 81 mph in the 45 mph zone.
Hayley Cochrane, 22, of St. John’s, reportedly got into a fight with her boyfriend in her apartment on the 200 block of West Cooley Street. She allegedly threw objects at him and bit and scratched him. She was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence.
Officers noted a vehicle driven by Fort Vino Barnett Jr., 39. The Apache said he was accused of “unusual driving maneuvers” and found the vehicle’s plates disabled. When contacted, Burnett was said to have smelled strongly of alcohol and said he had a “hangover.” After reportedly performing poorly on a sobriety test, he was arrested on suspicion of a felony of drunk driving, driving drunk without an interlock device.
Cibecue’s 28-year-old Shadow Gregg was arrested on a warrant from Show Low after being a passenger in a car that stopped in the 1900 block of the West Deuce of Clubs.
Lakeside’s 27-year-old Preston Orr was admitted to a medical facility on Block 2200 of Show Low Lake Road. And clearly unhappy that he was there. He was suspected of punching and damaging a wall and was arrested on suspicion of vandalism.
Leander Johnson, 47, of Vail, Colorado, was arrested for speeding after he reportedly drove 81 mph in a 55 mph zone along U.S. Route 60 near Milepost 338.
Show Low’s Braden Harris, 20, was also arrested on suspicion of speeding on State Route 260 near Pine Ridge. Police reportedly noticed signs of dysfunction. He was arrested on suspicion of DUI, disabled, and underage for DUI.
