Winning is always great, but doing so behind a season high score is even better (listen to the show low). They passed the Tuba City Warriors 32-2 on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the Cougars are certainly used to it for their fifth straight time.
Riley Whatt and Addicine Clark have had a big impact wherever they play. On the mound, Whatt gave up two runs acquired from two hits, pitching three innings. Meanwhile, Clark pitched one inning, giving up on the runs and hits he had acquired. Heuett was consistent. She has not given up on more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. On the plate, Whatt scored two runs and stole the bass on four of his five plate appearances. Clark scored three runs and stole two bases 2-3. This is the most stolen base posted by Clark in March.
In other batting news, Shorow got a massive performance from Avery Elbien. Abriavien scored a perfect 4-4 with one home run, five RBIs and three runs. This is the most run that Elbien posted in March. The team also got help courtesy of Ali Rivera. He scored a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs and four RBIs.
Show Low got hits left and right and finished the game that posted a batting average of .625. It was almost the same. They currently post batting averages over 0.394 in three consecutive matchups.
Sholow pushed their record 13-4 with the victory. These road victory only surrendered on average in these games thanks to pitching efforts. As for Tuba City, they were on a seven-game winning streak, falling 1-10.
Looking ahead, Shaw Law will challenge Payson at 6pm on Thursday. As for Tuba City, it will appear in Window Lock on Saturday at 11am.
