Senator Kirsten Cinema (Arizona) Raised $1.6 million in Q2 funding That is the case this year as questions remain about whether Arizona independents will run for another term in the Senate.
This second quarter’s fundraising includes nearly $680,000 in personal donations to her campaign. She finished her quarter with $10.7 million of her cash in her pocket.
The amount of money the cinema raised in the quarter topped the nearly $607,000 that Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb (R) reported this quarter.
But that number was lower than the $3.1 million reported by Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-Arizona) for this cycle. He finished his quarter with 3.7 million cash on hand.
Cinema has not yet announced whether he will run for the Senate, but the Wall Street Journal reported earlier this year that he was preparing to run again. Former Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake is also eyeing a potential run.
If Cinema runs, it could lead to a three-way race and avoid an awkward preliminaries with Gallego.
