Skip Bayless Leaving ‘Undisputed,’ FS1 To Officially End An Era: REPORT

Wow… that was unexpected.

rear 8 years Legendary FS1 sports personality Skip Bayless is leaving the network and his show “Undisputed,” it was reported Monday. Ryan Glaspiegel of the New York Post.

His final show is scheduled for later in the summer. (Related: Colin Cowherd makes a complete fool of himself with embarrassingly incorrect information and gets reprimanded by Derek Jeter)

Bayless' departure marks the second consecutive year that an “Undisputed” co-host has left both the show and FS1. In 2023, his partner at the time, Shannon Sharpe, left Dodge after the NBA Finals. Since Sharpe's departure, Bayless has been replaced by a rotating cast of talent, but the dynamic has never been as successful as the Bayless-Sharpe duo.

According to the Post, “Undisputed” is expected to continue despite Bayless not being involved.

It's unclear at this time what Bayless will do next.

Hmmm… I’d love to know what’s going on here.

If I had to guess from 10 years in media, it would be a shattered ego. We all know his feelings were hurt when Shannon left and the show has been falling apart ever since. I think Skip is quitting the show and using this time as an opportunity to take a break and eventually regroup and get back on track.

I may be way off, but knowing what people in this industry are going through, I know I'm right.
