Songs in the Library at Camp Verde Community Library

Sedona, Arizona – Camp Verde, Arizona

Music from Stacks is set to return to the Camp Verde Community Library on Thursday, July 10th at 5 PM. This event, known as Stacks In the Stacks, features a lineup of both local and national musicians who frequently perform in northern Arizona. Each month, the show showcases 3-5 different performers.

This month’s concert will highlight Bishop Mark Evans, Spencer Vandevier, and Greg Gould.

Bishop Mark Evans grew up in Southern California and was heavily influenced by artists like Gordon Lightfoot, Peter, Paul & Mary, Bob Dylan, and Paul Simon, among others. His unique style blends words and melodies into a heartwarming mix, with a sound reminiscent of folk and folk rock. After living in the Boston area for three decades, he moved to Phoenix, where he continues to create and perform music.

Spencer Vandevier, a singer-songwriter, graduated Magna Cum Laude from Santa Fe Art and Design College in 2015, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance. His musical journey took root during this time, and he now describes his sound as a fusion of Dark Folk and World Music. Spencer is also a founding member of the Vandevier Breaks group, which performs a range of covers and original pieces across northern Arizona. In addition, he works as a session musician and vocalist, collaborating with various artists in Phoenix.

Greg Gould has been a part of the Verde Valley music scene for several years. He’s an adept solo performer, playing a mix of classic rock and roll, and more laid-back songs. Currently, he’s collaborating with singer-songwriter Don Witcher in a duo called “Velvet Buffalo.”

The Camp Verde Community Library is located at 130 N Black Bridge Road, just off Montezuma Castle Highway in Camp Verde. The library’s hours are Monday to Thursday from 8 AM to 7 PM, and Friday to Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM.
