Sonora students recognized for their drawings in Binational Clean Air Calendar

YUMA, Arizona (KYMA, KECY) – Sonora students were honored for their work on the illustrations for the 2023 Binational Clean Air Calendar.

The Binational Health and Environment Councils of San Luis Rio, Sonora, Colorado and Yuma County, Arizona, sponsored by the Border Health, Inc. Regional Center, recognized students for their creative work.

There was a ceremony, acknowledgments and a motivational message from El Golfo de Santa Clara law student José Alberto Tirado Acosta, the athlete dedicating this edition, the press release said.

Local leaders also assisted with award presentations to upcoming students.
