Stephen Miller Says Democrats Just Dropped ‘One Of The Dumbest Talking Points’ Yet Against SAVE Act

White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller said Friday evening that Democrats came up with “one of the stupidest points of talk” about “Hoanity” on the American Voters Qualification (Save) Act he had heard.

Republican House members joined only four Democrats on Thursday to pass the SAVE Act. Fox’s Sean Hannity highlighted the way Democrats opposed legislation, saying that their surnames no longer match their birth certificates would prevent married women from voting. He asks Miller why everyone is against the bill.

“Only for the reason, Sean, you’ll disagree with that, if you voted for illegal aliens and wanted an incredible number of votes.

“In every other country in every memo world, IDs must vote,” added Miller. “The notion that Democrats are pushing for married women, a Republican voting demographic, to not obtain an ID, could be one of the stupidest topics I’ve heard of in my entire life.”

Despite saying Republican lawmakers include provisions for married women and allowing them to register for votes in federal elections, Democrats have repeated their claims to voters and constituents to fight back against the bill before the House vote. Miller went on to say the bill would require citizens to provide evidence of American citizenship through documents complying with the Actual Identification Act of 2005.

“Like you said, the Real ID Act creates an ID that you can get with a DMV that indicates you are a citizen,” says Miller. “Democrats want to vote for illegal foreigners. That’s why they gave millions to Joe Biden and his administration. We’re now checking this millions of M and the social security numbers of illegal foreigners.”

“Once you have a Social Security number, it’s very easy to vote, gather welfare, get the benefits of free government, and get involved in all aspects of American life,” Miller said. “This is not a mystery. They want illegals to steal the election, Sean.”

Democrats criticised the bill and sought to argue that it would lead to “voter suppression,” but Americans supported voter verification. According to October 2024 Gallup vote84% of respondents said they support the need for photo identification in their vote, while 83% support evidence of citizenship to register for the vote.
