Steve Marshall’s Campaign Report Highlights Strong Fundraising
Steve Marshall recently submitted his first report to the Federal Election Commission, indicating that his campaign for the US Senate in 2026 has raised a total of $406,318.43.
The campaign noted a positive start, mentioning that these contributions came from approximately 750 individual donors, with a significant 87% of the funds sourced from Alabama residents.
Out of the total, $156,968.43 was generated through smaller donations during a four-week period from late May to late June, netting a cash total of $382,954.13 after expenses totaling $23,364.30.
Marshall expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support from Alabamians, stating, “Tammy and I are extremely grateful for the pouring of support we have received from people across Alabama.”
He added, “As Attorney General, it’s an honor to fight alongside President Trump and defend America’s first agenda. This includes protecting the integrity of women’s sports, standing firm against illegal immigration, defending the Second Amendment, safeguarding the unborn, supporting law enforcement, and upholding law and order. To ensure Alabama’s strength, we are committed to advancing America’s first policy.”
Serving as Alabama’s Attorney General since 2017, Marshall was the first prominent Republican to enter the race for the Senate seat currently held by U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville, who announced plans to run for Governor of Alabama in 2026 instead of seeking re-election to the Senate.
Other candidates in the race include former US Navy SEAL Jared Hudson, who launched his campaign earlier this year, along with US Rep. Barry Moore, who is set to announce his candidacy at an event in North Alabama next month.
