CLIFTON — Whether you buy or decorate a duck, there’s still time to take part in the annual Big Quack Duck Race, the Greenlee County Tourism Council said.

The Big Quack Duck Race will be held on Saturday, June 10, in conjunction with the Gila Watershed Partnership’s cleanup of the San Francisco River.

As part of Big Quack, youth and adults are encouraged to participate in a duck drawing contest. Youth artists have the potential to win numerous prizes, including duck-themed backpacks, hats, water bottles, wallets and cell phone cases. The adult prize will be a vintage duck seasoning set, courtesy of Jermaine’s Emporium in Duncan.

For works directed to juveniles, submissions must include the artist’s name and age. All art must be submitted by his June 8th and the winner will be determined by the duck race participants.
