Street Preacher Has Bible Torn To Shreds At Seattle Pride

Street preacher Matthew Meinecke’s Bible was torn from his hand and shredded as he read it at Seattle Pride on Sunday.

Meinecke, also known as the “Preacher of Seattle,” was barked and taunted by attendees who waved transgender pride flags in their faces as they tried to read the Bible, a video has shown. In a video shared by Discovery Institute journalist Jonathan Cho, the man who broke the bible told Meinecke, “Nobody wants this at a Pride event, so have fun doing this.” I hear you say.

A video shot by Katie Daviscote, a reporter for the Post-Millennial newspaper, shows Meinecke standing and reading the Bible while Pride attendees bark at her.

In another video of Cho, Meinecke is being asked to leave by security guards for “protesting” and “demonstrating” without permission.

“It’s a religion, dude. I can’t discriminate based on my religion,” Meinecke said in a video posted by Cho.

Security and Pride participants are seen gathering around Meinecke, claiming he had a protest placard.

Meinecke was arrested twice in 2022, not the first time he read the Bible at a Pride event, the first for attending a Pride event and the second for attending an abortion rally. He was arrested, Church Readers reported.
