February 17 approx. At 0100 hours, the Northern Arizona Fire District (NAFD) and Kingman Fire Department (KFD) responded to a residential fire on the 2700 block of His E Thompson Ave in Kingman, Arizona. The unit arrived at the scene of a working structure fire to a manufactured home. A lively flame was seen emanating from a bedroom window at the front of the residence. The fire was quickly brought under control by the rapid response of NAFD and KFD. Firefighters thoroughly searched the home, but found no occupants. The house had been vacant for some time, according to neighbors, but squatters were recently seen entering and leaving the residence.

The cause of the fire has not been determined at this time.
