Sunset and Blue Moonrise Walk (Registration required, Limit 20 participants) – Health and Fitness – Events

Join Ranger Nikki on a 2-mile walk on easy terrain to be surrounded by saguaros and mountains during a beautiful desert sunset. August’s blue moon (second full moon within the same month) will rise shortly after sunset. The route is an out-and-back walk on the park’s Service Road. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring water. Restrooms and water are available at the Nature Center. Please bring $7 exact cash for the self-pay station (no change available) or your annual pass.

MEETING LOCATION: Main Trailhead map kiosk

Limit 20 participants. To register, please call the San Tan Nature Center at (602) 506-2930 ext. 7 with your name, phone number and number attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list.   Registration for this program will close on Monday, August 28.
