Founder of River Daves Place; Rely on Dave Johnson is a well-known figure in the community of Habas, Arizona. His partner Alvin Heathman, who produced the equally famous Super Catfest West in Missouri Performance Boat Circle, lives in the Lakes of the Ozarks and founded the original Super Catfest event in the waterway.
Both are strong and passionate guys who run their own shows and want to raise money for their children’s charity. Still, for the past two years, they have been successfully working together to produce Super Catfest West on Lake Havasu. The event, held at Havasu Riviera Marina and set for April 10-13, has grown every year since Johnson and Heathman joined forces.
Additionally, it has steadily grown in the shadows of the famous Dessert Storm Poker Run scheduled for April 23-26th. Dessert Storm marks its 26th anniversary this year. And while its original and current owners did not invent the idea for a street party display before the main event, the Desert Storm version set that standard. all Other such celebrations and product showcases are measured.
The exotic boat and car miles long display in downtown Habas City is impressive. As the sun sets further, the crowd fills the streets. For performance boat fans, it’s beyond that Any Official boat show.
With its charitable funding efforts, Supercatfest West has set a considerable standard of its own. In 2024, the event raised $300,000 for a local children’s charity. This year, the event could bring in $400,000 thanks to generous benefactors that organizers raise up to $200,000.

A week separates two events. Therefore, unless you can engrave three weeks away from your business, it means that you probably don’t need you – you need to choose either of them this year.
