Suspect accused of placing a recording device in park bathroom not formally charged

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) – A man arrested for allegedly placing a recording device in a public park restroom was not formally charged with those crimes in court.

The 29-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday night.

The man was accused of intentionally violating people's privacy and illegally observing, recording and recording people.

A judge signed a release form for his release.

Community members are reacting to his arrest and release.

“It feels really dangerous. I have kids, too, and I feel like it's really, really crazy. Just hearing about this kind of thing here makes me sick,” said Veronica Rodriguez, who lives in the area. said.
