Zion Teasley, who faces accusations of murdering Lauren Heike in 2023, is now facing additional criminal charges.
In Phoenix, the suspect linked to Heike’s murder has been hit with new felony charges in a separate case. The ongoing murder case against Teasley is set in Maricopa County Superior Court. Recently, a new lawsuit was filed, bringing several Class 2 felony counts of sexual exploitation of minors against him.
This exploitation is reported to have happened back in March 2019, roughly four years before 29-year-old Heike was fatally stabbed on a hiking trail near Libby Street and 66th Way.
At just 24 years old, Teasley is now dealing with a third criminal case in Maricopa County, tied to an alleged assault and robbery that supposedly occurred in 2020.
He’s scheduled to face arrest next week for these new charges.
