Police arrested two suspects with extensive criminal records on Wednesday and Thursday in connection with a random attack on an 82-year-old Bronx woman, the New York Post reported.
The New York City Police Department arrested two men, William Ballinger and Tammy Moore, for the assault of an 82-year-old woman. According to According to the New York Post, the duo are accused of assaulting an elderly woman on the streets of New York on August 2. The suspects, both 32 years old, were arrested after being on the run for two weeks.

According to the New York Post, Ballinger and Moore allegedly punched the woman multiple times, knocked her to the ground and stomped her. The victim was then taken to a nearby hospital where she is reportedly in stable condition. After the attack, the suspects fled the scene. Authorities have arrested Ballinger eight times and charged him with drunk driving in 2021. Police have also arrested Moore, who has been arrested 10 times, mostly for petty theft. The assault investigation continues, according to the New York Post.
